Ed stayed in Italy for a year, I think that turned him into an Italian by heart. He loves the cuisine and can speak the language. For his love of Italian food, we had a "Delicious Dinner at Filini" on his birthday.
When I was web-searching for good restaurants at Yas Island, Filini at Radisson Blu came first with excellent reviews. Since we stayed at Radisson for a night, we didn't want to miss the chance of dining at the famous contemporary Italian restaurant.
The restaurant has a modern design with a romantic setting.
The staff were friendly and the service was fast.
Our food server immediately took our order, gave us a glass of water and offered a set of Italian bread and olives.
Even the olive oil and balsamic vinegar are 100% authentic Italian.
I had Porcini Mushroom Risotto and Cream of Parmesan.
Based on the reviews, this is best risotto in town. Truly, it looked plain, but delectable.
Ed had Beef Tenderloin with roasted shallots in red wine sauce.
Filini is simple, no frills. Nevertheless, we had a dinner with Italian perfection.
It's been awhile since we visited Yas Island. I hope Radisson Blu will bring back the room + Ferrari tickets package. It'll be worth the trip!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for the visit and may you continue to blog more.
There's another promotion on-going, but with Park Inn this time. =)
