I always look forward to the month-long Dubai Shopping Festival, not just for cheap, sale items but for the celebration at Al Seef Street along Dubai Creek. At 8:00 pm, every weekend, people gather in the sidewalk of Al Seef to witness a grand festival parade. It's my 4th year in Dubai and I have noticed how the parade gets more colorful and magnificent each year.
Have a look at the vibrant Dubai Shopping Festival Parade I witnessed this year.

There's also a night market and a carnival at Al Seef Street, but because I had another enochlophobia attack (I hate crowded places), we didn't went to the bazaar area. It was too crowded, it was like I was smacked in the middle of a rock concert or something.
Anyway, if bazaars and parades are your thing, visit Al Seef street in Bur Dubai. Festivities starts at 5:00 pm until 10:00 pm every night; with fireworks at 8:30 pm on weekdays and the festival parade at 8:00 pm on weekends. You can also check out the other events line up this month at Dubai Shopping Festival's official website, click here.
