Though I've been sharing my adventure trips and foodie trails for some time now, I have never written anything about my wish list. Just like everyone else, I have a big bucket list of things to do and places to see; some are crazy and weird, most are cheesy and romantic. This post will serve as my checklist, my inspiration, a constant reminder to work hard, save more and see the world.
My husband and I already fulfilled some of our lifelong dreams; I have shared a few in this blog, while some happened years before I started blogging. Before you check our done list, let me remind you again that Ed and I are a fun-loving, crazy yet sweet couple, so please don't be surprise! :)
I have included Ed's goals because I love seeing him fulfill them; his dreams are also mine. |
Here are the dreams that I have to turn into reality someday (listed from easy to far-fetched):
- visit all of the seven Emirates in UAE (been to six as of the moment)
- savor Filipino dishes while on a cruise at Loboc River in Bohol
- see the Underground River in Palawan
- flashpack travel for a week or more (destination: anywhere)
- dine at Pier Chic, Dubai's most romantic restaurant
- watch my husband skydive above Palm Jumeirah
- see the sunrise at Marina Bay in Singapore
- island hop in Phuket
- cruise on a love boat
- have some Pho in Saigon or Hanoi
- be temple raiders at Angkor Wat
- drink an authentic Turkish Coffee at Sultanahmet district, while staring at the Blue Mosque, in Istanbul
- ride a hot air balloon and see the fairy chimneys in Cappadocia
- float in the Dead Sea and visit Petra in Jordan
- do the "Walk Like an Egyptian" pose at the pyramids of Giza
- kiss my dear husband at the Eiffel Tower
- cuddle in a gondola in Venice
- watch the sunset in Santorini
- witness the New Year's Eve fireworks display in London
- have a White Christmas
I want to fulfill these 20 before 2020 (while also pursuing our goal of having kids)! :) I know most of the things on my bucket list are hard to achieve, but dreams do come true as long as you work hard for them, right?
PS: Hello! Thank you for dropping by. I'd truly appreciate if you could write a comment/review for Lady & her Sweet Escapes at Expats Blog. Share the love, click here :)
