Kitsch Cupcakes' Mega Treat Cupcake Sale at BurJuman

The cupcake monster was out on the loose again! I found myself rushing to BurJuman Centre yesterday evening for The Mega Treat Cupcake Sale, in line with the mall's annual food fest. The cupcake sale was hosted by Kitsch, an award-winning cupcake shop in the UAE. 

There were over 500 scrumptious Kitsch cupcakes of different flavors on sale. Mini cupcakes were only at 5 AED each and regular ones for 10 AED each. Aside from the sale, Kitsch also organized a cupcake workshop for the little ones. Kids unleashed their creativity as they decorate cupcakes with colorful icing and candy sprinkles! 

Burjuman's Treat World Food Fest brings "Food and Fun" to mall goers. There's a "minute to win it" game, cooking demos and Junior Chef competition. The festival runs from May 14 to May 25, 2013.

Back to the cupcakes, I bought two mini red velvets, a strawberry flavored one and a caramel cupcake with nuts on top! My sweet treats were placed in a cute take-away box which immediately unpacked the moment I got home.  

The pretty little cupcakes were insanely yummy with average sweetness. That's what I love about a Kitsch cupcake, it's simply delicious but not overloaded with sugar. In fact, Kitsch offers "the best cupcakes in the UAE" according to What's On Magazine and  The National and Michelin starred chef Marco Pierre White. And so, the cupcake monster gobbled all four yummy cupcakes in less than 5 minutes!
