WAFI is an Egyptian themed shopping mall with huge statues of Pharaohs, columns inspired by the Karnak Temple in Egypt and intricate hieroglyphics on its wall. With its one-of-a-kind Ancient Egypt setting, WAFI is not just a shopping destination, it is a tourist attraction as well. It is astonishing during the day, and even more spectacular at night!
Every night, WAFI presents a light and sound show at the Central Courtyard. Lights, in sync with the sounds, are projected across the buildings with special effects. Vivid colours and fantastic patterns fill the walls of WAFI, making it more picturesque! The show changes every season. On December 2011, we had the chance to watch a Christmas-themed show. This month, WAFI brings a special Light and Sound show called "Ramadan Lights at Wafi", in line with the Holy Month of Ramadan.
Look how wonderful WAFI is:

The amazing show ended with an Arabic greeting "Ramadan Kareem" which means
" Have a generous Ramadan" or "Have a blessed Ramadan."
" Have a generous Ramadan" or "Have a blessed Ramadan."
And have a look at what happened after the show:
The guys went crazy, us girls went on a serious photo session,
and we all had our thumbs up for Ramadan Lights at WAFI! :)
