I'm not a bar/club person. As you can see in this blog, my only way of chilling out is a good proper dinner in a quiet restaurant with my husband. Hence, I have never enjoyed the infamous "Ladies Night" in Dubai, not until I discovered Vii Dubai in Conrad Hotel.
Vii is something special. It has a lush secret garden tucked in the 7th floor of Conrad in Sheikh Zayed Road. I have never seen anything like it before, so when I heard about EnVii - Vii Dubai's exclusive ladies night, I spontaneously sent an sms to one of my blogger friends. It was merely a day before Tuesday, and I'm sooo glad she was intrigued with Vii Dubai as I am!

I arrived in the swanky Conrad Hotel at exactly 8pm on a Tuesday evening. Call me overexcited, but I was really looking forward to my first ever ladies night, so I was there on the dot! :) My blogger friend, Myla of Find Me A Break, joined me in the hotel lobby a few minutes later, and together we went searching for the secret garden!
A hotel staff guided us to the back of the lobby, and there we saw a well-guarded elevator door. As EnVii is an exclusive event, there were two ladies assigned to check the guest list and two bouncers to check the IDs. Since we have placed our reservation a day before, it didn't take them long to give us our bead bracelets which we will be presenting in the bar in exchange for complimentary drinks.
Upon arrival at the 7th floor, both of us were stunned with the dazzling lounge! It's so chic and classy! Since we were there for the Vii Dubai's unique lush green lounge, we claimed our drinks in the bar and walked in the equally gorgeous tunnel that connects the main lounge to the garden in the terrace.

A whole new ambiance welcomed us when we reached the end of the tunnel. We have finally arrived at Vii Dubai's secret garden - a lounge tucked in a temperature controlled green house, and it was like stepping into a fairy tale! It's so enchanting! With the mystical atmosphere, Myla and I couldn't help but take lots of photos! I wasn't crowded, probably because we arrived early, hence we were able to walk around and look for the best spot!

We settled in the corner of the bar as we thought it has the best seats in the house. We got a full view of the lush terrace lounge and an easy access to the bartender just in case we need another drink! What I love about Vii Dubai other than its charming setting is that it is not the loud and crazy bar/lounge where I have to speak at the top of my lungs to be heard. The lounge music is simply just right, so Myla and I had a 2-hour girly conversation on love, on life, and of course, on blogging! :)
