It looks like extraordinary beverages are the next big thing in Dubai's dining scene. Whenever we dine out, I have noticed that some drinks can easily take the spotlight away from our food! So far, I have come across glorious mocktails, gravity defying milkshakes and marvelous hot chocolates!

Cocoa Room's Salted Caramel and Burnt Marshmallow Hot Chocolate
This morning drink will make you go OMG! It is a basic hot choco made extra heavenly with the addition of salted caramel syrup and a cloud of toasted marshmallows. Because of its sweetness, think s'mores minus the graham crackers, this decadent chocolate drink can double as a dessert.

Sugar Factory's Lollipop Passion Goblet
The Lollipop Passion Goblet took the spotlight when we were at Sugar Factory for dinner last week. The best-selling goblet is a fizzy tropical drink reminiscent of a virgin pina colada, sugar-kissed by two rainbow swirl lollipops! It's a drink made for two people to share, but I wouldn't blame you if you'd rather keep it for yourself! ;)

From the USA to the UAE, this outrageous chocolate drink is a must-have when at the world-famous Serendipity 3! The hot chocolate recipe has been the restaurant's best-kept secret for years. All we know is that the blended concoction overflows with 14 different kinds of melted chocolates!

Fume's Bronut Monster Shake
This monstrous drink defied gravity and made me weak in the knees! It has everything I love; rich chocolate shake with chocolate ice cream, heavily adorned with Maltesers, Nutella, marshmallows and moist brownie! Whew! Diet ruined, but trust me, it's worth it.

Manga Sushi's Cotton Candy Milkshake
A great way to brighten up your dining experience at Manga Sushi is having the Cotton Candy Milkshake. It is a bubble gum flavored milkshake cutely garnished with a candy floss. It comes in blue and in pink, but either way, it's a showstopper at the anime-themed restaurant.

When ordering these drinks, expect to get some weird glances from other diners. One word: INDULGE! Heheh. Anyway, I'm crazy over these out-of-this-world drinks and I know there's so much more out there. So, if you have tried something outrageous that is not on this list, leave a comment below! :)
