Long before COVID-19 shook the world, my parents flew over to Dubai for a quick visit. It became a sort of tradition to spend a night or two in a hotel every time they arrive. Ed and I are often caught up with work, hence staying in a hotel has been an excellent way to spend more quality time, catch up and bond with them in a relaxed atmosphere. Tested and proven for comfortable yet budget-friendly stays, we spent a night in the newly-opened Premier Inn Hotel in Dubai.  |

Opened just a few weeks before my parents' arrival in March, Premier Inn Dubai Dragon Mart is a fresh addition to the well-known budget hotel chain. It is located just a few steps away from Dragon Mart shopping mall and a quick 15 minutes drive from Dubai International Airport.

Sleek and Spacious Room
What I love most about staying in a Premier Inn hotel is that comfort is not compromised despite the affordable rate! The room is stylishly decorated, neat, clean, and with enough space to move around. I have to say, this kind of accommodation is a gem to find!

Dining Options
Breakfast at Premier Inn Dubai Dragon Mart is being served in Nuevo. The restaurant is airy and well-lighted; such a wonderful spot to start a brand new day! The selection is vast; from basic breakfast fry-ups to healthy options. But one thing that struck us the most is the service! Everyone at Nuevo was so friendly and thoughtful. Although I didn't give them a heads up, they prepared a birthday pancake for my father who was celebrating his birthday that day.

Premier Inn Dubai Dragon Mart also has Mr. Toad's Pub and Kitchen. It is an ideal spot for a family dinner, but I also see it as a vibrant venue to chill with friends, watch live sports, and end the day with a drink.
The menu has a fine mix of good ol' pub grub and hearty meals. The Rib Eye steak left us a good impression when we had it at Mr. Toad's in Premier Inn Al Jaddaf a few months back, so we were excited to have it again. We also loved the Norwegian Salmon Fillet and Half Grilled Chicken. All were tasty, in good portion size, and served with a filling side-dish.

Excellent Service
As I have mentioned earlier, service is one of the things that kept us coming back to a Premier Inn property. The hotel staff is exquisitely warm and impressively competent. They surely know how to treat their guests with a bespoke enjoyable stay. I don't know if I could ever find another budget hotel that can offer such a special experience.

Overall
Premier Inn Dubai Dragon Mart is another commendable Premier Inn property in the United Arab Emirates. There are several bonus add-ons along with the hotel stay like Buy 1 Get 1 Free meal deals, discounts on some Dubai attractions, early check-in, and late check-out.
We had a fabulous stay and it was indeed an excellent way to welcome the parents back to Dubai.
