Revier Hotel: Swiss-style Hotel in Dubai

Did you know that you can experience Swiss hospitality in the heart of Dubai?

We were delighted to learn about Revier Hotel. The hotel brand curated in Switzerland recently opened its doors in Business Bay. We felt it would be a unique staycation venue in the UAE, especially now that the weather is getting warmer. So we booked a one-night stay!

Checking-in at Revier Hotel Dubai

Just as expected, Revier Hotel transported us to the playground of Europe. The hotel lobby looks like a log cabin in the Swiss Alps; cozy seating area, warm colors, wintery figures, and a cute cow sculpture in a ski lift! The Swiss vibe is on point! 

The reception staff gave us warm smiles and swiftly processed our check-in. While waiting for our room cards, I can't help but notice the stunning artwork depicting the Swiss Alps and the sand dunes in one frame. It's a beautiful fusion that perfectly represents the hotel theme.

Staying in Revier Suite

Our home for a night is the spacious Revier Suite. It has a separate living and dining area decorated with ski blades and rustic wooden pieces. The room has a comfortable king-size bed, a stylish open closet, and an elegant bathroom!

Whenever we travel, Ed and I are always excited to taste authentic local food. So although we're stuck in Dubai this time, staying in a Swiss hotel gave us an opportunity to try dishes from Switzerland. 

We went to Alphorn restaurant for dinner. They have a seasonal asparagus menu and a la carte menu. We love asparagus, hence we ordered one asparagus-based starter and main, and classic Swiss dishes and dessert. All are so good, but absolutely not to be missed is the Weiner Schnitzel.

Staying in Revier Hotel on a Wednesday, I ended up having the Foxy Ladies Night specials in Allegra bar. Every Wednesday night from 7 to 11 pm, ladies can enjoy 3 drinks and 1 food option for 100 AED. We had beef tacos and the bartender made me a frozen margarita although it's not on the drinks menu.

We went back to Alphorn restaurant the next day for breakfast. There's a bountiful spread of International dishes and some Arabic choices. We also loved the freshly baked bread and the live-cooking station where I got a cheesy mushroom omelette.

Amenities

Revier Hotel Dubai has a well-equipped gymnasium and a lap pool. We didn't spend much time in the public amenities as we just wanted to relax in the comforts of our suite and eat good food during our stay. But it's good to see that they have facilities for different types of guests.

We had a relaxing city retreat at Revier Hotel Dubai. The hotel is trendy, functionally designed, and unique. The staff are well-trained and would go the extra mile to ensure that we're enjoying our time. And of course, we truly adore the concept of bringing the Switzerland experience to the UAE.
